Your Personal Partner in Financial Clarity
With Nichols Keeper of Books, clarity and success are prioritized through reliable financial management services tailored for small businesses.

Kevin Nichols
Owner/Operator
I’m the founder of Nichols Keeper of Books LLC, and I help entrepreneurs move from "guessing" to knowing their numbers.
As a Senior Tax Analyst with an accounting degree, my specialty isn't just data entry—it’s understanding how financial data translates into real-world business value. I’ve seen firsthand how messy books can stall a great deal or create unnecessary tax stress, and I started this business to help owners get ahead of those problems.

How I Work With You:
My service menu is built to meet you exactly where you are in your business journey:
When You’re Making a Move: If you are buying or selling a business, I provide Specialized Advisory. I dig into the tax returns and shop data to create a "Negotiation Brief." My goal is to find the true cash flow (SDE) so you have total leverage at the closing table.
When You Need a Fresh Start: If the books have fallen behind, I offer Financial Clean-Ups. I specialize in untangling the mess and reconstructing data from PDFs or paper records to give you an "audit-ready" history.
When You’re Ready to Grow: Through my Monthly Performance Packages, I act as your personal "Controller." I handle the reconciliations and payroll so you can stop worrying about the paperwork and start focusing on your shop or service business.
